Short-Term Running Goals:

I'm hoping I can make significant progress in the next 2 years. It may sound aggressive but with the correct training I want to achieve this:

3:45-3:50 this spring (Vancouver Marathon - April '11)

3:35-3:40 this fall (Victoria Marathon - October '11)

3:25-3:30 next spring (2012)

3:15-3:20 next fall (2012)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Boston, Boston, Boston... the dream! I've complete 2 marathons so far and I know I'm getting fit but I want to push myself harder and faster. I feel like I have so much potential still and haven't come close to peaking or leaving it all on the road. I'd really love to make 3:10:59 before I turn 35 (5 years to go!)

Personal:

I'm a Software developer in Vancouver Canada. I like Magnum P.I. and Pasta. One of these is beneficial for running.

Finally! The last true long run of training! Only 3 weeks till the marathon and it'll be a nice steady taper to the finish. Feeling pretty strong, knee is recovered and much healthier then the last two marathons. Think I have a strong chance at hitting my goal and smoking my old PR. Mwhahahaha! Excitement :)

14km Recovery Run tonight. Right knee is feeling a little off. Not pain but sore and was a bit swollen after the run. Paranoia setting in during the last hard week of training before taper? Probably not but we'll see how tomorrows 13 miler goes but I'm most def a little sore.

4x1200m sprints today and felt pretty good. It's nice to be hitting paces I've never hit before and feel strong going into the last 3 weeks of training :) I just wish it was race day sooner then later. Work will be intolerable by the end of next week.

Felt pretty good on this run despite a really hard week recovering from the @ marathon pace blast last Sunday. Had very consistent splits and ended with a strong sprint. More then happy after the knee problems earlier in the week.
